Sealed Bids for the construction of the CITY OF NORTH CHARLESTON/DORCHESTER COUNTY CTC FY 2025 RESURFACING will be received by the Owner at their office, Thursday, May 01, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. , local time at place of bidding, North Charleston City Hall, 2500 City Hall Lane, 3 rd Floor Rhett Conference Room, North Charleston SC 29406 and at said office will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids sent by regular mail should be addressed to: City of North Charleston, Procurement Department, 2500 City Hall Lane, North Charleston, SC 29406.
Bids hand delivered or sent by other courier service should be addressed to: City of North Charleston, Purchasing Department, 2500 City Hall Lane, North Charleston, SC 29406.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Resurfacing Athens Way, Apollo Court, Scarborough Court, Village Crier Lane, Portal Court, N & S Carousel Lane, Seasaw Court, Barrymore Lane, Oriole Court, Timicuan Way, Seminole Way, Muholland Drive, Folklore Drive, Tothill Drive, McGregor Downs Court, Gilpen Court, Coopers Court, Little School Court, Rustlers Court, & Sandlapper Parkway – the work shall include traffic control, milling, surface preparation, asphalt resurfacing, striping and associated appurtenances within in the project limits for these roadways.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner, for an amount equal to not less than 5% of the total bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required Agreement will be executed and that a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond will be furnished. Checks, regardless of form, will not be accepted.
