Description
Description
There are two pump stations in Dave Elton Park which feed the park irrigation, ball diamonds and St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Redwood Park has a single pump station for the entire park.
The designs for the new pump stations and controller systems have been completed. These adjustments will increase the efficiency of each site and improve operational performance and reliability of the systems.
Objective
The primary objective of this project is to ensure that reliable pressure and flow are provided to the existing irrigation systems, resulting in a reduction in both labor costs and time spent on repairs, increased overall health of the parks, and improved system efficiency. This will, in turn, help to create a vibrant atmosphere for community recreation and events.
Scope
The successful proponent will provide construction services for the replacement of three (3) booster pump stations in two (2) City of Lethbridge (City) parks. The scope of work for this project includes the supply of all equipment, materials, products, labour, and transportation necessary, including all incidental work, to remove the existing equipment and construct three (3) fully operational booster pump and control systems at Dave Elton and Redwood Parks as outlined in the contract documents. The scope of work will include, but is not limited to the following:
The estimated contract period will be 7 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/03/14.
