Description


Sealed bids for the construction of the project titled Water System Improvements ¿ FY2023 CDBG will be received until, April 28th, 2025 at 2:00 P.M at the Ivey City Hall, 148 Hwy. 243, Ivey, Ga. 31031, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the project titled Water System Improvements ¿ FY2023 CDBG as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists installation of + 3,697 L.F. of 8¿ and 4,498 L.F. of 6¿ water main, fire hydrants, gate valves, sidewalk replacement, grassing, erosion control, and all other appurtenances necessary for a complete project. This work will be awarded in one (1) contract.

Plans and Contract Documents are on file for review only at the City of Ivey and the Dodge Room. Copies for bidding purposes can be obtained from Ingram & Associates, L.L.C., 332 New Street, Macon Georgia 31201, Phone: (478) 745-3996, Fax: (478) 742-4690, Email: ashley@ingrameng.com upon payment of $200.00 for each hard copy set OR $75.00 for a digital set (non-refundable). All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing, latest edition.

This is a Section 3 Covered Project under the HUD Act of 1968 and Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
