CITY OF HEATH DARR ESTATES WATER LINE IMPROVEMENTS

Project number 2025-RFP-008 is for CITY OF HEATH DARR ESTATES WATER LINE IMPROVEMENTS . Sealed proposals addressed to the City of Heath, (Owner) will be received at Heath City Hall located at 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, TX 75032 until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 . Sealed proposals will then be promptly opened and read for furnishing all necessary material, equipment and labor required for the construction of the following project:

This project consists of the construction of approximately 2,800 linear feet of new 12-inch diameter and 4,500 linear feet of new 8-inch diameter PVC water lines replacing the existing water mains in Darr Road, Sorita Circle, Rosemary Drive, and Meadowlake Drive. Work includes connections to existing lines, trench safety, abandonment of existing water lines in place, pavement removal and replacement, and SWPPP.

No bids will be opened or considered if received after the specified time.

Prequalification is not required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities and/or accept the bid or bids deemed best for the City.

Bidders must submit with their bids a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the maximum amount of bid payable without recourse to the Owner or a Bid Bond in the same amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of the contract, a Payment Bond for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials, and a two- year, 100% Maintenance Bond.
