Fiber Broadband Open Access Network Design and Construction and

On-Going Maintenance and Operation

The City of Eagle, Idaho is requesting proposals from one or more qualified contractors, vendors, and/or Internet Service Providers (“Providers”) to fully finance the project, design, build necessary fiber network extensions and service drops, and provide the day-to-day network operations, maintenance, sales, and support systems required to operate the existing City-owned conduit and fiber and proposed extensions to it  as an Open Access Next Generation Communications Network (“Network” or “Open Access Network”) that will provide high-speed Internet access service to single-family and multi-family residences, businesses, and Community Anchor Institutions (“CAIs”) within the City.

Answers to questions will be posted to the City’s website no later than 4:00 p.m. (MDT) on August 20, 2025.

Bids must be submitted electronically utilizing the online submittal form provided. Submittals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. (MDT) August 29, 2025.  Bids received after the designated submittal deadline will not be considered. The City of Eagle reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
