Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the improvement and rehabilitation of various road surfaces in the City of Douglas. Bids will be received at the Mayor and Commissioner's Conference Room at City Hall, 302 South Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533 up to 2:30 PM, local time, Wednesday April 23, 2025. The bids will be publicly opened and read at the Mayor and Commissioner's Conference Room at City Hall, 302 South Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533 at 2:30 PM, local time, Wednesday April 23, 2025.

Bids can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Wynetta Bolder, City Clerk, City of Douglas, 302 South Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533. All bids must have LMIG FY24, LRA24 & FY25 Resurfacing and Striping Bid plainly marked on the outside of each bid. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. The City of Douglas will select the lowest responsible bidder after evaluation of all bids.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to resurface and stripe 4.47 miles of existing asphalt road surface according to the details in the specifications.
