REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

CITY OF CAMBRIDGE SAFE STREETS FOR ALL

Sealed proposals for the City of Cambridge Safe Streets For All will be received by the Commissioners of Cambridge at the Office of the City Engineer, 1025 Washington Street, Cambridge, Maryland 21613 until 2:00 pm local time on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

The selected consultant will develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan and provide design and inspection services for the quick-build projects at the direction of the City Engineer or his/her designee. Targeted activities to engage the public and local, county, and state agencies will be performed along with “before and after” studies required by USDOT. The City intends to allocate $100,000 - $120,000 for professional services in support of the scope of work in the complete Request for Qualifications (RFQ) package. It is intended that the work be performed in approximately 18 months from Notice to Proceed.

The Commissioners of Cambridge reserve the right to reject any and all bids, and/or waive informalities or irregularities, and/or to accept or reject any items of any bid, as it may deem best for its interest. The bids will be evaluated, and award will be made to the highest scoring package as graded by the criteria identified in the RFQ package.
