Tomkins Park Modular/Custom Washroom Structure

The City of Calgary is looking to procure a fabricator or manufacturer able to design, engineer, construct, ship and place on site a prefabricated, custom, modular washroom structure.

The City of Calgary will accept structure types pending they meet the requirements outlined in the technical specifications in Appendix G and meet all applicable building codes to be installed. Structures must also be prefabricated and modular as The City intends to move this structure to service several different locations in the future

Stamped engineered drawings will be required to allow The City of Calgary to apply for the required permits to install the modular washroom structure. The engineered drawings must show that the construction of the modular washroom complies with the applicable requirements in the National Building Code – 2023 AB Edition and any other requirements outlined in the technical specifications in Appendix G.
The modular washroom structure will be tied into City of Calgary infrastructure such as domestic water, sanitary, electrical, network infrastructure, and must be designed accordingly.
The modular washroom structure will operate 12 months of the year and must be designed to operate in Calgary’s cold, harsh winter months.
Connections to City of Calgary infrastructure and ramp/deck construction are not part of this RFP and will be coordinated by The City of Calgary with a General Contractor that will be procured under a separate procurement process
