The City of Calgary is seeking qualified consulting firms to act as architectural coordinating registered professionals and provide full architectural, engineering and specialty services, for investigation, advisory services, design, contract documentation, procurement, construction contract administration, and close out services to The City for maintenance, upgrade, additions and renovation projects related to building infrastructure. There will be three (3) categories of projects in this RFSO (see classification tool in Appendix F):

Category A (Lower Complexity Renovations/Additions): Projects deemed to be of low complexity (classification level 1 and 2*). These projects have well-defined scopes of work, few dependencies and/or are low to moderate impact.**

Category B (Higher Complexity Renovations/Additions): Projects deemed to be of higher complexity (classification level 2 and 3*), and/or of multiple phases, and/or of value greater than $250,000. In addition, these projects have numerous dependencies and/or moderate to high impact.**

Category C (Heritage Projects): Projects with a heritage component.

Proponents may apply to both Category A and Category B, however, may only be awarded one of the two contracts. In the case of being evaluated as highest rated on both, the proponent may choose either Category A or Category B. Proponents may apply and be selected for Category C in addition to Category A and B (or on its own). A unique submission is required for each category applied for.
