Substantial Completion: within 730 calendar days. Final Completion: within 760 calendar days.

Bidders must hold a current DAS Prequalification Certificate for ELECTRICAL & submit a copy of DAS Prequalification Certificate & Update (Bid) Statement with Bids pursuant to CGS §4b-91.
MANDATORY pre Bid conference: 8:00 am on November 30, 2022 at Water Treatment Plant, 1080 Terryville Avenue, Bristol, CT 06010. Bids may not be accepted from Bidders who fail to attend the mandatory pre-Bid conference.
This Contract is being bid in accordance with the provisions of the Connecticut General Statutes & municipal codes & ordinances. Any Contract awarded under this Invitation to Bid is expected to be funded in part by a loan from the State of Connecticut Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. Neither the State of Connecticut nor any of its departments, agencies or employees is or will be a party to this Invitation to Bid or any resulting Contract. This procurement is subject to the requirements contained in subsections (h), (j) & (o) of §22a-482-4 & is subject to the approval by Connecticut Department of Health (DPH). Compliance with the following is required: Federal American Iron & Steel (AIS) requirements; Federal Davis-Bacon requirements & wage rates & State of Connecticut prevailing wage laws & rates (whichever is greater), other Federal requirements; & Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program (requirement for DBE participation: minimum of 8.0% of total eligible contract amount equal to MBE 3.0 percent/WBE 5.0 percent.)
