NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids for the following equipment will be received by:

up to 2:00 PM on September 29, 2025, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. The sealed bid must include the following information on the envelope:

The Brevard City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The City is seeking bids for the following or equivalent: a Heil 20 Yard Rear Loader Garbage Truck on a Freightliner Chassis, or a Curbtender 20 Yard Rear Loader Garbage Truck on a Peterbilt Chassis, or other equivalent equipment including the loader and chassis, however, the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids for this equipment must meet or exceed the specifications provided in the attached document as determined by the City of Brevard.

Price must include delivery of the truck to 232 Cashiers Valley Road, Brevard, NC, and access to maintenance and warranty coverage within a 4-hour drive of Brevard, NC, for the duration of the warranty period. Supplier is to provide a minimum 1-year warranty on the Body and all associated components, and a 2-year warranty on the Chassis.  Pricing is also to be inclusive of all surcharges and tariffs. Buyer/Owner will be responsible for NC Sales Tax and Title Fees.
