NOTICE OF COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION
BID # 2601 DATE: June 8, 2026
PROJECT TITLE: 2024-2026 LMIG and LRA
PROJECT: The City of Alma is soliciting proposals to provide all labor,
equipment, materials, and appurtenances necessary to complete
patching, leveling, resurfacing, and striping for approximately 3.4
(LM) of city-maintained roadways. The project includes work on the
following streets: Williams Avenue from Radio Station Road to S
Pierce Street, Taylor Road from Long Street to Townsend Lane, Bead
Street from Edge Wood Street to the dead end, E 8th Street from N
Pierce Street to Taylor Street, 5th Street from Smallee Street to N.
Church Street, Lucky Street from E 20th Street to Cone Drive, Gwen
Street from W 4th Street to Lakeshore Drive, Smallee Street from W
7th Street to the dead end, and Crosby Street from Long Avenue to
Townsend Lane.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: N/A
BID OPENING DATE: 10AM EST, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the City of Alma's Office
located at 502 W 12th Street, Alma, GA 31510.
SUBMISSION OF BIDS: Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted must include
the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned in a sealed
envelope marked, "SEALED BID" with the applicable "BID NUMBER"
on the outside. It is the responsibility of the bidder to have the
sealed bids at city hall prior to 10AM, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
BID BOND: All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less
than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified
check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond.
PERFORMANCE/ The successful Bidder, if awarded this contract, will be required to
PAYMENT BONDS: furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one
hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
PAYMENT TERMS: The successful Bidder will receive monthly payments within 30 days
after receipt and approval by the Owner's Representative of a valid
invoice for those services rendered.
