NOTICE TO BIDDERS
City Crop Land Lease, Wiese Addition
Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of Brookings, South Dakota, at the Office of the
City Clerk at the Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 3rd Street, Suite 230,
Brookings, South Dakota, until 1:30 PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for City Crop Land Lease.
Such bids are to lease approximately 26 acres of crop land located in Section 19-T110N-R49W
(Wiese Addition), located west of 32nd Avenue South and north of Capital Street.
Specifications and bidding blanks may be inspected and procured at the Community
Development Office, 520 3rd Street, City & County Government Center, Brookings, South
Dakota, 57006 or online at www.cityofbrookings-sd.gov. Questions should be directed to Mike
Struck, Community Development Director, at (605) 692-6629. Bidders shall check for
addendums on the website.
All bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope and shall state on the lower left
corner of the envelope, “City Crop Lease Section 11-T110N-R49W (Wiese Addition).” Any
bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. No bids may be withdrawn after the date
and time set for the opening of bids.
Action on the bid award will occur within 30 days of the bid opening. The City of Brookings
reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
