QUALIFYING FEES SET FOR 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION

The City of Tifton provides notice, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-131(a)(1), that in the election to be held on November 4, 2025, the qualifying fee for City Council District 1 and District 3 shall be $207.00. The qualifying fee shall be paid at the time a candidate qualifies.

City Council District 1 - Position currently held by Josh Reynolds
City Council District 3 - Position currently held by Lester Cromer, Jr.

Qualifying for the offices listed above will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, and will end at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025. Candidates must qualify in the Office of the City Clerk located at Tifton City Hall, 130 E. 1st Street. Contact Jessica White, City Clerk, for more info on candidate qualifying (229) 391-3970.
