The Government proposes to acquire on a One Time Buy Firm Fixed price contract, a quantity of 18 each of CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY, NSN: 5998-01-609-1074, Part Number: 13656860, in support of the M-D6 Patriot Missile Weapon System.

Production Lead Time (PLT) is 18 each per month, 180 Days After Contract Award (DACA).

This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain the quality of the part. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.

The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This solicitation will not close and may be posted prior to the synopsis closing date stated above. The solicitation shall be open for a minimum of 30 days from the date it is published.

THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 12470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT.

EXPORT CONTROL REQUIRES THE APPLICABLE CERTIFICATIONS TO BE CURRENT FOR BOTH THE QUOTER AND MANUFACTURER.
