Scope of Work:
1. Material Submittal
A. Provide material & system data, installa(cid:415)on procedures, warranty data, infill specifica-
(cid:415)ons, and color samples to District for review.
2. Temporary Fencing

3. Removal & Disposal

4. Subgrade Preparation
A. Contractor shall prepare the exis(cid:415)ng subgrade to receive new ar(cid:415)ficial turf system, includ-

ing minor grading, leveling, compac(cid:415)on, and moisture condi(cid:415)oning sufficient to meet manu-
facturer tolerances.
B. Contractor shall verify drainage and adjust subgrade as necessary to prevent ponding.
5. Existing Structures
A. Contractor shall work around exis(cid:415)ng play and shade structures; no removal or reloca(cid:415)on
of these structures is included in the Base Bid.
B. Installa(cid:415)on under and adjacent to these structures shall result in a flush, uniform finished
surface.
C. Proper slope and eleva(cid:415)on for drainage, safety, and accessibility shall be maintained.
6. Arti(cid:976)icial Turf Installation

A. Install new ar(cid:415)ficial turf system in accordance with manufacturer specifica(cid:415)ons and appli-

cable codes.
B. System shall include turf, infill material, base layer, and edge restraint as required.
C. Provide proper seam installa(cid:415)on, anchoring, and infill distribu(cid:415)on to ensure durability and
uniform appearance.
D. Finish surface shall be smooth, even, and free of wrinkles, seams, or trip hazards.
E. Contractor shall ensure smooth transi(cid:415)ons between turf and adjacent surfaces (e.g., con-
crete, PIP, walkways).
7. Compliance Requirements
A. Contractor must hold appropriate California contractor license (typically C-27 or appropri-
ate classifica(cid:415)on).
B. Contractor must be registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5.
C. Prevailing wages apply (Labor Code 1720 et seq.).
D. All work shall comply with applicable State, local, and manufacturer codes and standards.
8. Protection / Clean-Up
