Chisago Lakes Lake Improvement District (LID) Weir Rehabilitation RFP

Chisago Lakes Lake Improvement District (LID) will accept bids for three separate options. Each one will involve only work pertaining to the specific weir location or both.

They have been divided into three options for consideration:

• Option A includes all work necessary for construction of the steel frame at the Lofton Avenue weir location as a separate contract;
• Option B includes all work at the Lake Ellen weir location as a separate contract; and
• Option C combines both weir locations (Lofton Avenue and Lake Ellen) under one contract.

Lofton Avenue weir location:  Lofton Avenue near Green Lake, 0.7 miles south of Junction CR23, 2.5 miles south of Chisago City, MN.

Lake Ellen weir location:  West shoreline of Lake Ellen off Bjorkman Lane, 1.0 miles southwest of Chisago City, MN.

Any bid submitted without prices on all bid items for all Packages will be considered non-responsive.

Bids will be opened shortly after 12:00 p.m. CST on November 4, 2024 in Room 160A at the Chisago County Government Center, located at 313 N Main St - Center City, MN 55012.

This meeting is highly recommended by not mandatory.

Contractor shall give a notice by 10/28/2024, 2:00 p.m. CST if planning to attend.
Meeting invite with all details will be sent upon receipt of notice to attend. Two representatives from Chisago Lake LID and Collins Engineers will be leading the meeting to review the scope of the project, discuss concerns of the owners and contractors, and to answer any questions that may arise.

Questions and answers from the site visit will be responded to promptly prior to the submittal date. Please limit firm personnel to 3 persons.
