Solicitation Summary

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), through its sub-unit, the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) to provide for the coordination of the
Children’s Mental Health Matters Campaign by increasing public awareness, reducing stigma and connecting children and families with support, resources, and a sense of community, as well as providing educational experiences for the State including Healthy New Moms . Healthy New Moms is a program that works to raise awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and offers support and resources to Moms, families and providers across the State. It includes a .(It includes a Safe Sleep assessment designed to engage caregivers whose babies may be at risk for sudden infant unexpected death due to unsafe sleep practices.)
