BID CALL:

The Town of Normal will receive sealed proposals for the following:

Children’s Discovery Museum Flooring

Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Children’s Discovery Museum Flooring” with the time and date of the opening, which will be October 23, 2025, at 10:30 am prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall. Any questions regarding this bid will be addressed at a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10:00 am at the front lobby of 101 East Beaufort Avenue. Subsequent site visits will be permitted but shall give notice the day prior. No Town staff will attend or answer questions during subsequent site visits. Town employees are otherwise prohibited from answering questions prior to the bid opening.

State statues and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job. Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from the Town Clerk, 11 Uptown Circle Avenue, Normal, Illinois 61761 or downloaded from the Town’s website, www.normal.org on October 9, 2025. The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedures. The bid award will be made by the Town Council and their decision will be final.
