ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
VILLAGE OF PARK FOREST, ILLINOIS
1. Time and Place of Opening Bids. Sealed proposals for the construction of the Chestnut Lift Station Replacement for the Village of Park Forest, Cook County, Illinois, will be received at the Village Hall at 350 Victory Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466 until 2:00 P.M., August 18, 2026, and at that time will be publicly opened and lump sum price read aloud.
2. Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of rehabilitating the existing wet well, installing a valve vault, control panel, two 5 hp submersible pumps, 696 feet of 4” force main, 48 feet of storm sewer, abandonment and removal of existing facilities, surface restoration, and other miscellaneous items of work.

, upon a non-refundable payment of $90 per printed set and $45 per digital download. Documents can be purchased only through BHFX Digital Imaging.
Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract.
The Village of Park Forest is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Village of Park Forest for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions.
4. Rejection of Bids. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
