Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). SCOPE OF WORK (The following is a general description of the scope of work for the project. This description is not necessarily entirely inclusive of the actual scope of the work. Refer to the provided drawings for more specific information). The scope of work for this project includes the complete demolition and removal of the current playground structure and associated elements and the construction of a new nature-based playground. The project also entails the installation of a new temporary construction fence, installation of new bike racks, benches, trash and recycling receptacles, new walkways, and new landscaping with a new irrigation system and irrigation controller per plans. Installation of a new drinking fountain with a lockable recessed built-in hose bib, concrete slab, and dry well. Installation of lockable hose bibs as specified in the plans. Installation of a new water line service and meter. ADA transition and compliance improvements per plans include but are not limited to repairs to the perimeter walkway and the installation of six new benches around the park's perimeter walkway, re-stripping and resealing of a section of the existing parking lot, as indicated in the plans, to add a second handicap accessible parking space. New ADA parking signage, four (4) new wheel stops, and new detectable warning pads as indicated in plans. The site shall be restored after construction to its original condition or better, including re-sodding in all areas affected by construction and the installation of a new two-rail fence in segments affected by the construction activities.
