Chemical Latrine Services

Cannon AFB, New Mexico (CAFB) is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT notice to gather industry information with respect to a five-year IDIQ contract for Latrine Serivces at CAFB.

No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this SOURCES SOUGHT. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications will be made available only on the Contract Opportunities website (https://sam.gov/). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The Government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein.

The following NAICS Code applies to this SOURCES SOUGHT: 562991 (Septic Tank and Related Services). The size standard for this NAICS is $9,000,000.

CAFB is seeking sources interested in a possible contract to provide Latrine Services at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation, and other items and services necessary to provide chemical latrines and domestic wastewater tank pumping service in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations. The contractor shall furnish, maintain and service portable chemical latrines (Standard and Handicap Accessible) and hand wash stations at Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB), Melrose Air Force Range (MAFR), and remote sites throughout Eastern New Mexico, and to pump domestic wastewater holding and septic tanks at CAFB and MAFR. At the end of the performance period, the latrines and hand wash stations will not become the property of the Government.

The Performance Work Statement attachment on this SOURCES SOUGHT is only a DRAFT, and is subject to change.

Your capability statement should be limited to three (3) pages. At a minimum, your capability statement should include skills, experience and knowledge to perform the type of work described above. Please include the following:
