Chemical Bids 2026

Project Description: Public notice is hereby given that the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi will receive sealed bids until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on Tuesday November 18, 2025, for the furnishing of the following materials:
Approximately:
150 Tons Polyaluminum Chloride Liquid (Type I and/or Type II)
5 Tons Potassium Permanganate
30 Tons (wet) Sodium Hydroxide Liquid (Caustic Soda)
12 Tons Liquid Chlorine in One Ton Containers
4000 Gallons of Sodium Hypochlorite – Bulk delivery
4000 Gallons of Sodium Hypochlorite – Tote Delivery
250 Gallons of Sodium Hypochlorite – Drum delivery
15,000 Pounds of Food Grade Citric Acid
* Liquid Ortho/Polyphosphate Blend (As Required)

Copies of the specifications are on file at the office of the Authority, 3 McKean Avenue, Charleroi, PA 15022-0211. All specifications are available online at no cost at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Bids must be submitted via PennBid.

All proposals must be for the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, during which time all materials must be supplied at the bid price.

The Authority of the Borough of Charleroi reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to accept any bid which it deems to be in its best interest.
