Event Description
DSS is seeking a software solution that will aid our visitors in having a smoother, modern experience that reduces wait times, improves service, improves communication, improves availability, and through such measures, reduce stress during an already stressful time in their lives.
The South Dakota Department of Social Services (DSS) assists children, families, individuals, seniors, and people with disabilities through some of the most difficult times in their lives. DSS intends to pilot this software at our new One Stop location (opening in February 2025). This location will DSS services for all constituents of Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas from a single location and is expecting over 150 visitors per day. If successful, DSS will consider expanding the use of the proposed software solution to our presence in over 40 communities across South Dakota.
Offerors may email inquiries concerning this RFP to obtain clarification of requirements. No inquiries will be accepted after the date and time indicated in the Schedule of Activities. The State will to respond to offeror’s inquiries (if required) via e-mail. In addition, all inquiries and the State’s responses will be posted on the state’s e-procurement system and the DSS website at http://dss.sd.gov/keyresources/rfp.aspx. Offerors may not rely on any other statements, either of a written or oral nature, that alter any specification or other term or condition of this RFP. Offerors will be notified in the same manner as indicated above regarding any modifications to this RFP.
