CALL FOR BIDS Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative (CHEC), hereby gives notice to prospective bidders that proposals will be received by Booth & Associates, LLC on behalf of Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 for: CHEC BID #26-6 Specifications for SANDY BAY LINE HARDENING STRS. 178-192; SALVO AND WAVES POLE CHANGEOUTS STRS. 250, 333, 349; AVON AND SALVO WOOD POLE CHANGEOUT; 115kV TRANSMISSION LINE INSULATOR CHANGEOUT; AND AVON STUB POLES In order to insure an open and full competitive bidding process and maintain compliance with FEMA’s Procurement Guidance for Recipients and Subrecipients Under 2 C.F.R. Part 200 (Uniform Rules), CHEC has instituted the VendorLink system to provide current information to potential bidders. These systems will allow you to receive bid information quickly and at your convenience 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Specifications may be obtained from their website at www.myvendorlink.com. Registered vendors will be notified automatically of all Requests for Proposals. Information and Specifications attached.
