CALL FOR BIDS Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative (CHEC), hereby gives notice to prospective bidders that proposals will be received by Booth & Associates, LLC on behalf of Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 for: CHEC BID #26-6 Specifications for SANDY BAY LINE HARDENING STRS. 178-192; SALVO AND WAVES POLE CHANGEOUTS STRS. 250, 333, 349; AVON AND SALVO WOOD POLE CHANGEOUT; 115kV TRANSMISSION LINE INSULATOR CHANGEOUT; AND AVON STUB POLES In order to insure an open and full competitive bidding process and maintain compliance with FEMA’s Procurement Guidance for Recipients and Subrecipients Under 2 C.F.R. Part 200 (Uniform Rules), CHEC has instituted the VendorLink system to provide current information to potential bidders.
