NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Snohomish County Purchasing Division for the following:

Estimate: $693,383.44
Sealed bids must be received no later than 11:00 A.M., February 18, 2025. Sealed bids may be mailed to Snohomish County Purchasing Division, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., M/S 507 – 6AdmE, Robert J. Drewel Building, Everett, Washington 98201.

All questions shall be submitted as follows: Questions shall be submitted in writing to purchasing@snoco.org and must be received by the County no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the due date for sealed bids.

This Contract provides for the restoration of rearing and refuge habitat at the Chatham Acres site on the North Fork Stillaguamish River near River Mile 26. The project area is entirely within County-owned property covering an area of approximately 27 acres, with some access through private property via temporary construction easements. Construction of several different types of ELJ (Engineered Logjam) structures, and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the 2024 WSDOT Standard Specifications.

All bids must be submitted in writing on forms downloaded from Builders Exchange of Washington.

Commercial carriers such as Federal Express and United Parcel Services as well as the United States Postal Service will continue to deliver items to County buildings.

Hard copy submittals may be delivered in person or sent via commercial carrier or post office. The delivery/physical address is: 3000 Rockefeller Ave, Drewel Building - Admin East, 6th Floor and must be received by the Purchasing Department not later than 11:00 AM on the given due date.

If submitting in person, the bid shall be sealed in an envelope, and the bid number and proposer’s name will be noted on the outside of the envelope. Proposals will not be accepted at any other county location other than the Snohomish County Purchasing Division.

Bids will be opened by County staff. The opening may be viewed via Microsoft Teams. Bidders may attend bid openings on the 6th floor of the Robert J. Drewel Building. Bidders may also call in and listen to the bid opening at the number below.
