Charley Drive Road Safety Audit

Project Description: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a comprehensive Road Safety Audit (RSA) of Charley Drive, including Caribou Street, Moose Street, Bear Street, and a portion of Mariah Drive, to evaluate the full corridor connection from Bogard Road to Wasilla Fishhook Road. This corridor has experienced increasing traffic activity and community concern regarding vehicle speeds, pedestrian safety, and roadway operations. The RSA will identify existing and potential safety issues and recommend feasible, context appropriate countermeasures to improve safety for all roadway users.
