CH1225177 - Safety and Resurface on US 301 from Prince George's County Line to MD 5K, MD 5 from US 301 to MD 5K, and MD 5K

This project, located in Charles County, is for safety and resurfacing improvements of US 301 from North of MD 5 to South of MD 5K. It also includes safety and resurfacing improvements along MD 5 K from US 301 to MD 5 and along MD 5 from US 301 to Substation Road. The total project length is approximately 1.37 miles.

The work will consist of the following:
(a) Fine milling and resurfacing
(b) Replacing and upgrading damaged or non-standard W-beam traffic barrier and end treatments
(c) Removing existing pavement
(d) Replacing existing damaged or deteriorated curb and gutter
(e) Upgrading existing curb ramps and curb return driveways
(f) Repairing inlets
(g) Cleaning existing pipes and inlets
(h) Replacing pavement markings
(i) Furnishing topsoil and sod placement
