Centrally-Managed Content Management System (CMS) for Athletics
Description:

The Binghamton University Division of Athletics is seeking qualified vendors to submit proposals for website hosting, a content management system, and a live state platform to enhance its digital presence and optimize fan engagement. The department requires a reliable, high-performance hosting environment with cloud-based scalability. The content management system should feature an intuitive interface, allowing department staff to create, edit, and publish content seamlessly, while also supporting multi-user access, customizable branding, and integration with third-party platforms such as ticketing services, merchandise stores, and social media feeds. Automated content workflows, robust media management, search engine optimization, and analytics capabilities will help maximize reach and engagement.

The live state platform must deliver real-time score updates, high-quality game streaming, and interactive fan features such as live polls and social media integration. It should provide detailed athlete profiles, career highlights, and recruitment resources for prospective student-athletes. Mobile optimization is crucial to ensure accessibility across all devices, allowing fans to stay connected wherever they are. Additionally, the department requires ongoing technical support, continuous updates for security and functionality, and compliance with accessibility standards to ensure an inclusive digital experience.

SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) {a}, which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity / product or service. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the above commodity / product or service, you must contact the appropriately designated campus contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this advertisement notice.
