This project was initially bid on October 4, 2024 and proposals were due November 5, 2024 at 2pm. Due to receiving an inadequate number of responses at the bid opening, Pender County is rebidding the project with proposals now due November 21, 2024 at 10am.

Pender County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide horizontal and vertical construction services consisting of; Open lawn space, sidewalks, playground area, parking lots, multipurpose fields and concessions building. Site work includes demolition, clearing, grading, erosion control, and landscape as well as installation of the amenities listed in the plans. The construction service will involve executing the provided plans/drawings and specifications to achieve the primary goal of this project - to provide the western portion of Pender County with a multi-sport complex for citizens to enjoy.
Interested contractors must submit a detailed proposal per Articles 1-22 of the provided Bid Set for Construction (Pond Project No. 1230819) and additional enclosures.

-18th, 2024 between 8:30am and 4:30pm.

Interested firms are required to monitor the website for possible addenda. Pender County reserves the right to reject any/all submissions. No telephone or fax proposals will be accepted. Bids and amendments thereto, or withdrawal of bids submitted, if received by the County after the date and time specified for scheduled receipt, will not be considered. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to see that his bid is received by the specified time and date. There will be no exceptions. Date of postmark will not be accepted. The County will not be liable for bid packages lost or misdirected by the carrier. All M/WBE and HUB are encouraged to respond.
