CMRPC Request for Proposals Central Mass Safe Streets for All Action Plan and Demonstration Project. The Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to prepare a Regional Safe Streets for All Action Plan and provide design and support for a Demonstration Project. The Action Plan will identify improvements at high crash locations to eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries for all users. The Demonstration Project will be conducted on Beacon Street in Worcester from Madison Street to Boys and Girls Club Way. The total project budget is up to 400000, including 350000 for the Action Plan and up to 50000 for Demonstration Project design and support. Of the 50000 allocated, 12500 is contingent on future funding authorization. The RFP is available May 12 2025 at 2 PM by request to rraymond at cmrpc dot org. Technical proposals must be submitted via PDF by email. Price proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked Price Proposal Safe Streets for All RFP and delivered to Connor Robichaud at CMRPC, 1 Mercantile Street, Suite 520, Worcester MA 01608. Proposals are due by 2 PM EST on June 9 2025.
