Project Description: CENTER SQURE WEST – GENERAL CONTRACT NO. 2024-02G
MECHANICSBURG BOROUGH CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA
Work shall consist of constructing improvements at 1 West Main Street, Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania. Improvements shall include but are not limited to, the installation of a new water service, stormwater conveyance facilities, concrete walkways, brick pavers, granite pavers, signage, bus shelter and landscaping. Work within West Main Street (SR 0641) shall include installing new concrete curb, reconstructing four ADA ramps, removal of an existing crosswalk, a 1.5-inch mill and overlay and the installation of a new thermoplastic crosswalk.
This project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development.
Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online until 10:00 o’clock AM, prevailing time, on the 20th day of January, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read: All documents and solicitation details are available any time at PennBid™ (www.pennbid.net) by clicking on the “Solicitations” then “View” tabs. Hard copies of all documents may be optionally purchased through PennBid.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids.
Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract.
There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting at 10:00 am on the 6th day of January, 2025 at the Mechanicsburg Borough office located at 36 West Allen Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within Sixty 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
