ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the Centennial Park Improvements Project, located at 1 Hazelton Street, will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Ashley Borough, until 11:00 AM local time on January 15, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website.
The project includes the removal of the existing tennis court area and existing play equipment, installation of new play equipment, preparation of play area for the installation of poured in place playground surfacing (surfacing to be installed by others), curbing, landscaping, mulch, and preparation for resurfacing, paving and striping of walking path and associated amenities. Play equipment, benches, picnic tables and poured in place surfacing will be purchased by the Borough.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage
Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex.
Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
