Cecil County Animal Shelter - Modular Design Build-EXTENDED

Cecil County, Maryland, is requesting proposals for the "Animal Shelter - Modular Design Build” as specified within the Scope of Work and attached specifications, from qualified firms, individuals, etc., having specific experience identified in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The animal shelter is located at 3280 Augustine Herman Hwy, Chesapeake City, MD 21915.

The existing Cecil County Animal Shelter is undersized for the number of animals housed on an annual basis. Constructing an addition to the existing animal shelter building has proven to be infeasible. Therefore, the County has determined to build a stand-alone, modular building dedicated to accommodating the increased number of cats being housed by the shelter. The modular building will be placed on the same property as the existing shelter and operated as an annex as opposed to a second shelter operation.
