CDBG - Woodland Acres Sidewalk Improvements Phase VIII

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Kennesaw City Clerk, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144, until 3:00 PM local time on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, for sidewalk improvements in Woodland Acres Subdivision. This is a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project consisting of constructing approximately 8400 l.f. of 5' sidewalk, 4" thick, and ADA ramps along the eastern side of Woodland Dr from Sycamore Dr to Sumit Wood Dr, the northern and western sides of Sumit Wood Dr from Woodland Dr to Sumit Creek Dr, the southern and eastern sides of Sumit Creek Dr from Sumit Wood Dr to Stone Wood Dr, and the northern side of Stone Wood Dr from Sumit Wood Dr to Woodland Dr. Work includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for the project. Copies of the bid document may be attained by contacting the City Clerk at lalvarez@kennesaw-ga.gov. The project must be completed within ninety (90) days. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 PM local time, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at City Hall Training Room, 2529 J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144. Proposals from contractors whose representative(s) did not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be rejected. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the City of Kennesaw. The quantities shown on the Unit Price Sheet are approximate only. The Bidder is solely responsible for verifying all quantities, means and methods for the work. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and the right to waive any informalities or technicalities.
