Description:

The City of Homestead is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain qualified partners to implement a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program to provide Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) services to K-8 Students residing within the City of Homestead City limits. Funding is provided through the CDBG program and subject to all applicable rules and regulations. The successful vendor will enter into a sub-recipient agreement with the City of Homestead that outlines the scope of services, performance measures, and payment. The vendor will provide every aspect of the STEM program and will then be reimbursed by the City for expenses according to an approved schedule. The funds will be awarded to the most responsive respondent or respondents in the best interest of the City of Homestead.

This project is funded in conjunction with CDBG #B-18-MC-12-0055.

This project will be federally assisted through the Department of Housing and Urban Development with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

Successful applicants are required to comply with City and Federal guidelines, including 2 CFR Part 200 and all other applicable laws and regulations. CDBG program is governed by 24 CFR Part 570. Additional regulations that apply to the program include Section 3, Fair Housing, Labor Standards, and uniform administrative requirements.
