Solicitation Description:

The Metropolitan Police Transit Department (MTPD) serves the National Capital Region (NCR), which is the home of the United States government, and it remains an attractive soft target for any group or individual looking to make a statement. To better respond to potential CBRN terrorism indicators such as unknown substances, multiple or suspicious injuries/illnesses, or other indicators, MTPD intends to enhance existing capabilities to respond to potential CBRN threats. The scope of work for this procurement effort will support the purchase of CBRN detection and identification equipment enhances existing and future fixed and portable CBRN detection and identification assets with existing video surveillance cameras and systems; personal protective equipment (PPE); and decontamination equipment.
