CATS Light Rail Tire Wheel Kits

Project Description: The City of Charlotte (City) plans to contract with a firm for a 3-year contract with additional 2 one-year options to maintain sets of tire wheels for on hand inventory spares. Order 32 sets per year. Penn Machine Company is original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Bochum Tires and was the original supplier of the Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) Bochum Tires under the Siemens LRV Procurement Contract #1. The spares that are being purchased and repaired under this purchase are for replacement spares required to maintain the Light Rail Vehicles. These items are being purchased from the original equipment manufacturer OEM to guarantee interchangeability with existing hardware. OEM & Proprietary Service.
