The Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, has a requirement for a musician to provide musical leadership for its Catholic Services on Saturday and Sunday Mass, and for Holiday/Special Mass as required. The requested musician must have the ability to play the piano and/or guitar, and be intimately familiar with the Catholic Services along with its liturgical requirements. The musician is expected to lead and select the proper hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs; perform preludes; postlude; offertory; and background for meditation and prayers; that enhances the atmosphere of worship for the particular congregation. Play prelude 15 minutes prior to designated Worship Service/Ceremony start time and postlude of at least 5 minutes at the conclusion of the Worship Service/Ceremony. All job duties and personal qualifications must be performed in accordance with the attached performance work statement (PWS).
Scheduled hours of performance for required musician services (Does not include Special/Holiday Mass):
- Saturday Mass: 1645 – 1805
- Sunday Mass: 1045 – 1205
The period of performance shall be for one base year of 12 months, and four 12-month option years. The period of performance reads as follows:
- Base Year: 06 April 2025 to 05 April 2026
- Option Year One: 06 April 2026 to 05 April 2027
- Option Year Two: 06 April 2027 to 05 April 2028
- Option Year Three: 06 April 2028 to 05 April 2029
- Option Year Four: 06 April 2029 to 05 April 2030
*The period of performance is subject to change depending on actual date of award.
Location of Performance: Services shall be provided at Tripler Army Medical Center at 1 Jarrett White Road, TAMC, HI 96859.
Offerors must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed online at http://www.sam.gov.

Addendum to 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Products and Commercial Services
(a) Notice of Question(s) Submission Deadline: Offerors are requested to review this solicitation in its entirely, including attachments, and urged to submit any questions regarding this document to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist in writing via email (renee.m.fletcher.civ@army.mil and alex.j.bonus.civ@army.mil) by 01 April 2025, 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time in order to allow for the preparation of answers to be provided to all prospective offerors. Any questions received thereafter may not be processed.
(b) Submittal Requirements: All quotations submitted shall confirm offered qualifications and services are in accordance with the PWS. All quotations shall include the following:
- Pricing data as reflected per the CLIN structure provided in this solicitation.
- A resume or statement identifying as a musician addressing their qualifications in accordance with the PWS Technical Exhibit A
- Submittal Deadline: The Offeror shall provide quotes via email to: renee.m.fletcher.civ@army.mil and alex.j.bonus.civ@army.mil with the supporting documents as specified under paragraph (b) of this section no later than 03 April 2025, 0800 Hawaii Standard Time.
