Notice is hereby given that Provincial Health Services Authority on its own behalf and as agent for each of Fraser Health Authority, Interior Health Authority, Vancouver Costal Health Authority and Vancouver Island Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Catheterization Laboratory Consumables for a term of three (3) years and four (4) months at an estimated value of $4,075,828.96 CAD.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA , as agent for the Health Authority(s) has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason.
The goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
  • To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative.

These consumables include PTCA and peripheral Guidewires, PTCA and peripheral microcatheters, PTCA and peripheral Guiding catheters which will be used for procedures in the Cath Lab. Suppliers who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection to the attention of Harshwardhan Naik, Buyer – Cardiac Care by email to harshwardhan.naik@phsa.ca before 3:00pm Pacific Time, October 25, 2024.PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
