NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ocean County Board of Health is seeking quotations for catering and catered meeting/conference room use for January through July, 2026. Proposals for January through December, 2026 will also be considered.
Background Information:
The Ocean County Board of Health is tax-exempt government unit. The award of a contract or contracts for the provision of catering services and a minimum of four catered uses of a meeting/conference room (at least three in Region A as identified below) for the aforementioned period is anticipated to be made in December, 2025. Eight catered events per six month periods are anticipated to be held at 175 Sunset Avenue in Toms River and additional events may be held at other locations in Ocean County (including but not necessarily limited to Board of Health facilities in Lakewood, Jackson and Stafford). Interested parties must submit quotes by November 21, 2025. Submissions will continue to be accepted for specified line items until awarded. Evaluation of quotes will take into consideration price, service area, variety of menu proposed and value (price compared to similar proposals). Multiple contracts are anticipated to be awarded. General Requirements:
1. Provide quotes for catering services for breakfasts and lunches and a minimum of four catered uses of a meeting/conference/dining room (for an estimated attendance of 20 to 50 depending on event) are being requested. Prices can be provided on proposal sheet (download, complete and upload) or by uploading menu. Interested parties do not need to submit proposals for each line item. Provision of different items may be contracted for separately based on above mentioned criteria.
3. Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of its W-9 before award of contract.
4. Vendor/contractor shall provide a copy of the New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and Iran, Russia and Belarus prohibited activities disclosure before award of contract.
5. Vendor/contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Ocean County Board of Health as additional insured in a minimum amount of $1,000,000/$1,000,000 aggregate general liability; when a vehicle is used to provide the service $1,000,000 auto liability each accident, combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage; worker’s compensation in the statutory minimum and employer’s liability coverage of at least $100,000 for each accidental injury and with respect to bodily injury by disease, $100,000 each employee and $500,000 per policy year before award of contract.
