Category 2 Network Equipment for e-Rate Funding Year 2025-26

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is for Category 2 network equipment, specifically access points and switches, and required licensing, needed to upgrade network functionality at district wide schools. There will be installation required access points and all related items to access points only for this solicitation and MUST completed by June 30, 2026. Tucson Unified School District intends to apply for federal E-Rate funding discounts for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 (July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026). A purchase order(s) will be issued to the most responsive, responsible offeror(s) after July 1, 2025. In addition, the District reserves the right to limit or modify the scope of work based on budgetary limitations unrelated to E-Rate. To ensure funding availability all invoicing must be issued not later than June 30, 2026.

The purchase of this equipment will provide the support needed to enhance network performance and provide the flexibility to increase bandwidth as needed.
