Scope of Services
The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for Cast In Place Concrete. The work includes furnishing all material, equipment, labor, supervision and other requirements necessary to provide cast in place concrete forming, placement, and finishing on a continuing contract basis throughout Putnam County. Projects under this contract will include flat concrete work of minor complexity, such as sidewalks, driveway, parking pads, flumes, and other similar works. The projects will include reinforced and unreinforced pours up to 12 inches in thickness. The contract price will include all labor, equipment, material, and supervision to form the work, grade and compact base, install reinforcing (both welded wire fabric and rebar) as required, pour concrete, float and finish the pour, installation of construction joints as needed, and tooling or sawcutting of control joints. The contractor will provide all concrete and steel at cost plus a set percentage markup.
The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to ensure that all concrete installation, finishing, tooling, and sawcutting shall follow current American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Putnam County standards.
Base Bid

The Base Bid portion consists of labor only, including equipment, labor, and supervision for installation of concrete and reinforcing.
Alternate Bid

The Alternate Bid portion is for material costs plus percentage markup by contractor.
Contractors may bid on one or more labor scenarios. The County reserves the right to award to one or more bidder(s) who best meet the needs of the County.
