Project Bid Received By & Opening Information: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bids for the construction of Cartway Bridge Replacement Project will be received online through QuestCDN vBid™ until Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM local time. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, representatives of the City of Champlin will publicly view Bids at an online Bid opening meeting. The as-read online Bid results will be available at www.questcdn.com following the Bid opening.

Description: The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities:

  • 1,100        S Y        Full Depth Reclamation
  • 700        L F        Remove and Replace Concrete Curb and Gutter
  • 500        C Y        Excavation – Common (P)
  • 1,500        C Y        Select Granular Embankment (CV)
  • 200        L F        14x14 Precast Concrete Box Culvert
  • 350        TON        Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course Mix (2,C)
  • 250        L F        15” – 18” RCP Storm Sewer
  • 140        L F        12” Ductile Iron Watermain
    • Additional Description: The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City of Champlin shall comply with the provisions of the statute.
    Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service through QuestCDN.

    The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any Bids received without explanation. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
