It is the intention of these specifications to provide to prospective bidders the requirements for Cartage of Voting Machines and the Cartage of Poll Books and Related Election Equipment and Materials as required by the Middlesex County Board of Elections.
The Middlesex County Board of Elections is in charge of elections in all municipalities in the County. There are twenty-five municipalities in the County each of which has multiple voting locations and, in some cases, multiple voting districts within each voting location. Each voting location has at least one voting machine, two electronic pollbooks, one router for communication, and one A frame sign. Specific quantities are provided in the Detail Specifications and the Bid Sheet.
