This solicitation covers the carpentry work inside a U.S. Government-owned building. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: :
- Careful removal and dismantling of historic wooden wall paneling; 4 panels over whole room height 3,87m; First floor, Hall 1.
- Careful removal and dismantling of 2 wooden cabinets in front of 2 old radiators.
- Modification and reassembly of historic wood paneling as cladding for a wall-mounted vertical radiator, approx. 25cm in front of the wall, including new panels (same wood & color) for side panels, and substructure. Milling vertical ventilation slots for the radiator behind. First floor, entrance, Hall 1.
- Cladding of the wall reveal and lintel for the new elevator door; same wood and color as historic wall panels; First floor, Hall 1.
- New wood paneling, white coated, cladding for a wall mounted vertical radiator, approx. 25cm in front of the wall, including side panels and substructure; Second floor, Hall 2.
- Adjustments of 2 historic wooden door frames on the second floor, white coated.
- Various adjustments to the floors, ceilings, and walls.
Estimate size of the project: estimated construction cost per range according to FAR 36-204: less than $ 25,000.
