The following items are required:
This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement for twenty-four headset systems for the Cardiology department at Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System. These headsets will be used by the Cardiology staff to communicate hands-free. The staff will be able to speak at a normal volume during catheter procedures.
Requirements:

Specifics:
Headsets must have the following:
One earpiece
One microphone
At least 16 hours of battery charge
Volume adjustment
Noise cancelling
Weigh no more than 36g with battery
Be compatible with hygiene covers
Chargers must have the following:
Capacity for at least 6 headsets
No more than 5 hours to full charge
5V, 3A
No larger than 375H x 105W x 85D mm
Base Station must have the following:
At least 30 headsets for listening and 6 in talk mode
At least 70m radius
Wall mounting
No larger than 250H x 165W x 50D mm
100-240v ac voltage
Hygiene Covers must have the following:
Must be disposable
Large enough to cover the headset speaker General Conditions: Vendor shall be an authorized distributor or manufacturer for the brand of equipment they are proposing. All parts and materials shall be medical grade, manufacturer recommended, and approved for use in a hospital patient care area. Quoters shall provide documentation clearly demonstrating their proposed equipment meets the minimum specifications listed.
Deliverables/Installation/Incidental Services: The vendor shall deliver equipment to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System as specified within the requirements.
