Project Title: Cardboard Hauling & Disposal
Description: Disposal services for the North Carolina Department of Administration, Facility Management Division who is responsible for providing cardboard waste removal provisions for state buildings assigned to the Department of Administration located in Raleigh/Wake County. The information provided herein is based on current cardboard waste removal requirements. As it is required to maintain an efficient cardboard waste removal service, requirements may be added, changed, or deleted during the term of this contract. Facility Management Division is a technically oriented organization with many unique capabilities. The primary mission is to provide a safe and healthful work environment for employees and the general public in a cost effective and energy efficient manner. As part of the waste management program, and as set forth in NC Statute § 130A-309.14, all State Agencies shall ensure that employees have access to containers for recycling (at a minimum) aluminum cans, high-grade office paper, and corrugated cardboard. Contracting Agency ensures all cardboard waste sites maintain an "appearance" of cleanliness at each dumpster site to prevent an overflow of cardboard and the attraction of nuisances.
