ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals for Single Prime Bids will be received until 3:00 pm on March 17, 2026, at Cape Fear

Community College, Capital Projects Office, 419 N 3rd St., Wilmington, NC 28401, Attn: David Kanoy, for the

construction of the Cape Fear Community College, Building L alterations, at which time and place bids will be

opened and read. This is an interior renovation of 7000sf of former dental clinic space into a drop in childcare

facility, and two classrooms. There is exterior work to add a deck and outdoor play equipment.

A mandatory open pre-bid meeting will be held for bidders, subcontractors and vendors on March 3, 2026, at 10:00

am at Cape Fear Community College, Building L Lobby, 415 N. 2nd St Wilmington, NC 28401. The meeting will

address project scope, description, issues, bidding procedures and forms, including MBE forms; and answer

specific questions. Prime bidders are required to attend.

Complete plans, specifications and contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of CFCC Capital

Projects. or can be obtained electronically by emailing a request to David Kanoy at dkanoy@cfcc.edu .

CFCC reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
